my soap box...

JUST WANTED ADD SOME BEAUTY TO MY STRUGGLE

okay so not to be totally depressing right now, i just needed to vent for a sec on bodies. well this last week i really worked hard at exercising and did great totally lost 1\2 inch on each of my arms, and almost a whole inch on my thighs. so ya that is totally rockin' dope, but then it comes down to the eating. blah!!! really that stinks i have such a bad strength when it comes to making good eating choices. oh man why does food have to be so fabulously delicous?! oh stink, it is super hard for me. i just wish that everything was bland and yucky, but NO it has to be scrumpcious and sugary. okay so really like i have said before "in my world everyone will eat rainbows and poop butterflies" then we won't stuggle with the food dilema. super!!! really i'm super in love with my step class and I LOVE TO EXERCISE but man it doesn't pay off when i eat like an elephant who loves food. so that comes back to body image. who's the one to decide what we should look like? i mean i'm all for being healthy. well darn it all, i'm stumped with my struggle. any ideas? now i'll step off my soap box and go back to being good ole happy me! holla ya'll!!!

I think you look great personally! And, how awesome are you working out!! Way to go! I am a lazy couch potato! The only excersise you'll see me doing is walking up and down our stairs!! How sad, I know!! And, I can't help ya out in the food department because that is one of my biggest weaknesses too! I am awful! I have told Zack several times that when we die, the one thing I am really going to miss here on earth is the food!! Yeah, i'm both pathetic and sad!! Ahhhhh, well what can ya do?

Oh my! I totally feel your pain. I hate to run, hate it! But does that stop me from eating desserts all the time? Nope.

You are too hard on yourself. You look great! I couldn't believe how cute you looked at that baby blessing. What I want to know is how you get yourself to work out so stinkin hard??? I just can't do it. I'm way too exhausted. It's ridiculous. Help me!! And food is so yummy! I wish we could eat rainbows and poop butterflies too!! Ha ha! Jeff and I got this diet from our dietition and it's worked pretty good. It's hard at first but gets really easy. I'll make you a copy if you want. And then you can help me work out. I tried to go running the other day and couldn't breathe halfway down the street. Pathetic. No endurance. You look so cute though. You're always just beaming! miss you

Rainbows sound DELICIOUS! I think you are being too hard on yourself though, seriously your third child and your baby's how old??? Ya, not very old at all....that's what I thought. I hate exercising too, but totally love playing SOCCER! Wait, if I remember right so do YOU! You should play again! It totally helps burn calories and also to let off a bit of steam!

I feel ya, girl!=) Can't help but think that I may possibly contribute to your food dilemma! Oreos, licorice and donuts aren't too unhealthy, right?;) But, regardless of what you may think, you look fabulous! You are one beautiful Biatch!=)

I love food too! Mostly sweets! I have to stick gum in all the sweet drawers and cupboards to hopefully deter me from the cookies and candy and eat gum instead. Obviously this does not work too well for me, but maybe for someone else. Atleast your loosing inches, good work!

Ok, now that I read your post, I'll comment...lol. Not only do I agree with everyone that you look great, Benji told me something when we got married that I have never forgotten. Because he is in the health field of work and is very concerned with being healthy and what not, I was concerned that after having a baby or just with time, it would bother him if I wasn't the stick I was when we got married, so I talked to him before we got married and this is what he said, "Health is not necessarily in your size. When a woman has a baby, her figure changes, and I will be proud to walk around with someone who gave my kids life. As long as you are healthy, I could careless what you looked like." He has completely stuck to that, even on my ugly days! A month ago he went to a conference and told me that the average age for children (they were talking mostly about girls) to start being concerned about their bodies...any guesses? 3 years! Can you believe it? He said they said it was because their roll models are the Disney Princess...who are skinny and beautiful. So from children we have this imprint as woman that we are "suppose" to be small. Yet in some cultures, they actually are attracted to bigger woman, it means they are good cooks...lol.

Anyway, not that you wanted to hear my saga, but I just thought I would tell you...I think every woman feels the way you do, but in the end, we have to stick together! I say we start a "beautiful woman" magazine with all woman...at all stages of life, and not cropped, digitally improved etc.! You are beautiful! Love you

P.S. you want a good at home remedy...Wii Fit...Holy Cow, it gives you an amazing workout! :) Plus it helps you set goals, tells you what your weight, BMI, and etc is each time you get on...give you helpful hints on things, helps you with your balance, posture, etc...it does everything...it is AMAZING what that machine can do! I've lost 3.5 lbs just on that! AND IT'S FUN! LOL

The important thing is how you feel. Do you feel blah all the time or do you have boundless energy?
